Moustafa Hisham (Disha) is an Egyptian cinematographer and director. Beginning in photography at the age of 16, his practice expanded into illustration, graphic design, and 2D motion graphics — forming a layered visual perspective. This foundation led to a focus on cinema, developed through formal education and on-set experience. Work spans TV, documentaries, and commercials, with an emphasis on meaningful, visually expressive storytelling.
Approach
With a strong visual foundation, recce pictures become the starting point of the preparation process — where observations evolve through hand-drawn lighting plans and 2D & 3D illustrations into practical cinematic frames.
